Five videos from the Office Based Addiction Treatment Training and Technical Assistance (OBAT TTA) team have been recently released! These videos are part of a series that aims to condense topical issues impacting the quickly-evolving field of substance use disorder treatment into bite-sized videos. Each video tackles a different topic and begins with a testimonial from an expert in the addiction field sharing their own first-hand experience, followed by an animated explainer segment.
These videos cover topics including the intersection of pain and addiction, written by Daniel Alford, MD, MPH; polysubstance use, written by Alexander Y. Walley, MD, MSc; challenging patient conversations, written by Lexie Bergeron, MPH, LCSW; family planning in addiction treatment settings, written by Annie L. Potter, MSN, MPH, NP, CARN-AP; and young adults with substance use disorder, written by Scott Hadland, MD, MPH, MS.
This videos project has been spearheaded by Alicia S. Ventura, MPH, Director of Special Projects and Research for OBAT. Videos were produced by 1623 Studios out of Gloucester, MA. Stay tuned for more videos to be released soon!
