The Grayken Center for Addiction at Boston Medical Center is hosting a two-day conference for people in the Boston area who work in the addiction field, including clinicians, educators, researchers, peers, harm reductionists, administrators, and policymakers, as well as people with lived experience of addiction and their family members.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: To attend, all individuals must be registered for the Together for Hope: Boston Addiction Conference 2024 conference via the conference registration portal. To learn more and register, click here.
Accreditation information is listed below. Please note, this is a 2-day conference (March 15th and March 16th). Across both days, participants can receive a maximum of 10.5 continuing education credits for the approved credit types (CME, Nursing, LICSW, LMHC, LADC/CADC, RC). On day 1, March 15th, participants can collect a maximum of 6 continuing education credits. On day 2, March 16th, participants can collect a maximum of 4.5 continuing education credits.
Intended audience
Individuals registered for the Together for Hope: Boston Addiction Conference 2024 conference via the conference registration portal (www.bmc.org/together-for-hope-2024) seeking to earn continuing education or a certificate of completion for their attendance.
Objectives
After the conference, participants will be able to:
- Identify new programs and Boston-based organizations focused on substance use disorder (SUD) education, treatment, and support.
- Recognize strategies for improving SUD treatment outcomes.
- Discover public health policies relating to SUD and future directions for policy improvements.
- Describe the philosophy of harm reduction for substance use.
- Understand the value of interprofessional collaboration in advancing patient-centered care in substance use treatment.
